1. What gets deleted
When we process a verified deletion request, we will delete or anonymise the following data associated with your NTV GO account, where applicable:
- Account profile information (name, email, phone number, username)
- Saved stories and bookmarks stored under your account
- Photos, videos, and story submissions linked to your profile that have not been published or broadcast
- Device identifiers and usage data tied to your account in our active systems
- Authentication credentials and login tokens
2. What may be retained
We may retain certain information where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Published or broadcast content — submissions that have already aired on NTV, Spark TV, or been published on digital properties may remain available; your account link will be removed where technically feasible
- Legal and compliance records — records we must keep to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements
- Aggregated or anonymised data — statistics that no longer identify you personally
- Backup systems — residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before automatic purging
- Advertising and analytics — data held by third-party ad or analytics partners is governed by their retention policies; see our Privacy Policy
3. How to request deletion
Email us from the address or phone number associated with your NTV GO account. Include the following so we can verify your identity:
- Registered email address or phone number
- Your app username, if you have one
- A clear statement that you want your account and personal data deleted
- Confirmation that you understand deletion is irreversible

4. Processing timeline
- We aim to acknowledge your request within 5 business days
- We will complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or technical constraints (we will inform you if so)
- We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity before processing the request
5. In the app
You can also reach us through Feedback in the NTV GO More menu to request account deletion. For store compliance, this web page serves as the official account-deletion URL for NTV GO.
If you only want to stop using the App without deleting your data, you may uninstall the App from your device. To fully remove your personal data, you must submit a deletion request as described above.
